Ninh Binh is located in the southernmost part of the Red River Delta in Vietnam, approximately 90 km south of the capital city, Hanoi. It shares borders with Ha Nam Province to the north, Nam Dinh Province to the east, the East Sea to the southeast, and Hoa Binh and Thanh Hoa provinces to the west and southwest. With a natural area of around 1,386 km2 and a population of approximately 952,000 people, Ninh Binh is renowned for its diverse tourism resources, encompassing numerous historical and cultural sites, famous landscapes, and valuable natural ecosystems.
