8.30 am: Pick you up at your hotel after your breakfast. After that we ride motorbike to visit the farthest place of tour – Bat Trang traditional pottery village.
This short trip is about 15km from city center. We get out of Ha Noi and ride along Red river bank. The traffic is not heavy. The nearer we get to Bat Trang, the more peaceful the countryside is. We park bikes and take a short walk around Bat Trang market to see a wide range of lovely pottery products. We can also see how local people produce pottery and try ourselves to make some of them. Bring money for souvenir with you.
10:00 am: Ride back Ha Noi along Red river bank. We cross Long Bien bridge. This was built by French colonists at the turn of 20th century. It connects Hoan Kiem district and Long Bien one.
10h30 am: Ha Noi motorcycle tour will visit the mausoleum of the national treasure Ho Chi Minh where you can enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho”s final resting-place. You will also be able to view Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts can be found next to the mausoleum. Also nearby is the One Pillar Pagoda which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 and has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. You will then stop for a delicious Vietnamese lunch with dishes of Pho Cuon, Pho Chien Gion,…
After lunch, you will visit the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam. Constructed in 1070, this was Vietnam’s first university. The architecture and gardens have been beautifully preserved and offer a glimpse into the world of Confucianism and Vietnamese academia.
